Founded in 1967, Autex Acoustics® creates designer acoustic products that positively transform the built environment. From the people who work with us, to those who design with our products, to the communities and environments they exist within—we care deeply about creating healthier outcomes for people and planet. We’ve been pioneers in fibre materials from the very beginning. Today, that pioneering spirit is driving a bold new chapter, designing and manufacturing building products that don’t just do less harm, but actively create positive change.
Whether through recycled PET, renewable natural materials, or technologies yet to be discovered, our products combine years of deep expertise with relentless curiosity and innovation. We go beyond surface‑level design, putting human experience at the centre of every decision, and prototyping, testing, and refining until we deliver solutions that truly perform.
Origin Story
From humble beginnings in New Zealand more than 50 years ago, Autex Acoustics® has grown into a global leader in sustainable, design-led acoustic solutions, with 50+ years presence in Australia and 35 years of local manufacturing.
